Postal services in Phuket
- Phuket Town
- The main post office is located in on Montri Road, north of Phang Nga Road. Tel: +66 (0) 76 211020.
- Patong
- The post office is located at the northern end of Patong, next to the Patong Palace Hotel on Rat-U-Thit Road. Tel: +66 (0) 76 248689. A second post office is at the Beach Road.
- Karon, Chalong and Kamala
- Along the main roads of these places there are also smaller branches.
- Rates and services
- Airmail letters are charged 17 Baht to Europe and Australia and 19 Baht to USA. Postcards are charged 12 Baht
Post offices are open from Monday – Friday from 08.30 to 16.30. On Saturdays from 09.00 to 12.00.
Urgent and important mail can be posted by EMS. This service is faster and safer but also more expensive. The private courier DHL is also available on the island.
