Rates and services
Airmail letters are charged around 23 baht to Europe and Australia and 25 baht to USA. Postcards are under 20 baht.
Post office open hours: 08:30-16.30 (Monday to Friday), 09:00-12:00 (Saturday).
Urgent and important mail can be posted by EMS; a faster and safer, but more expensive service. The private courier DHL is also available on the island.
